E-Commerce Analyst

About the Role

Analyze clients' existing e-commerce platforms, processes, performance metrics, and accessibility to identify areas for improvement 

Develop and implement strategies to enhance website usability, conversion rates, customer experience, and accessibility compliance 

Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience (including users with disabilities), and industry landscape 

Provide recommendations on accessible e-commerce platform selection, integration, and customization 

Advise on digital marketing tactics (SEO, PPC, social media) while ensuring accessibility best practices 

Conduct accessibility audits and identify issues, prioritizing them based on severity 

Implement accessible design and coding practices in collaboration with development teams 

Provide training on e-commerce best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and assistive technologies 

Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, accessibility guidelines, and industry developments 

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and accessibility requirements to stakeholders 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an e-commerce consultant or in a similar role 

  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and accessibility standards (WCAG) 

  • Expertise in accessibility testing tools (e.g., Monsido, WAVE, aXe) and assistive technologies 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client communication skills 

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence), web analytics, and Microsoft Office suite 

  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) 

  • Experience conducting user research, prototyping, and working with cross-functional teams
