About the Role
Install, configure, and maintain AVEVA software applications, including PDMS, E3D, Engineering, and other related products.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the AVEVA environment.
Administer AVEVA databases, including backup, recovery, and performance optimization tasks.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their requirements and provide technical support for AVEVA software usage.
Develop and implement best practices, standards, and procedures for AVEVA software deployment and usage.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system availability and efficiency.
Coordinate with IT teams for infrastructure requirements, system integrations, and network configurations related to AVEVA software.
Stay up-to-date with AVEVA software updates, patches, and new releases, and plan for upgrades and migrations as needed.
Provide training and documentation to end-users on AVEVA software features and functionalities.
Participate in project meetings and discussions to ensure AVEVA software requirements are met and aligned with project goals.
Requirements
Proven experience as an AVEVA Administrator or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of AVEVA software solutions.
Strong understanding of engineering design workflows, processes, and best practices.
Familiarity with database administration, backup and recovery procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., VBScript, PowerShell) for automation and customization tasks.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud environments relevant to AVEVA software deployment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Strong communication and documentation skills for effective user support and training.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and project management.
